On Sunday, Aug. 31, after the main mass a parishioner was attacked by a male
while defending parish goods inside Our Lady of Czestochowa church in South Boston.
The individual appeared to be the former church secretary's son. With the help of other

August 1st, 1944 in Warsaw, Poland, the bigest partisans battle during World
War II has been started. 250 thousand civilians were killed. Polish capital did not accept
German or soviet ocupation and it was systematicly leveled to the ground. This sacrifice
was paid of half a century later, when Poland became independent. (
